26 January 2026The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon’ble Sangay Khandu, is currently on constituency visit after the successful closing of the fourth session of the fourth Parliament.
The visit, spanning nearly one and a half months, aims to strengthen engagement with the community, gather first-hand insights into local issues, and assess development priorities across the constituency. During the ongoing tour, the Hon’ble Member is meeting with Local Government leaders, Civil Servants, and residents across all Gewogs under Tashichholing Constituency.
Besides public meetings, Deputy Speaker is also visiting various ongoing development project sites to review progress, conduct in-person inspections, and receive updates on implementation challenges and achievements.
The rigorous tour reflects the Hon’ble Deputy Speaker’s commitment to inclusive representation, transparency, and responsive governance through direct engagement with the people.
