26 March 2026A group of 21 students from Sergithang Primary School under Tsirang Dzongkhag visited the National Assembly as part of an educational and cultural tour aimed at enhancing their understanding of Bhutan’s governance system and national institutions.
During the visit, a presentation on Bhutan’s parliamentary system and the roles and functions of the National Assembly was also made to deepen their understanding of the Parliament and its roles and responsibilities. The students also took a tour of the Parliament Hall and the parliament museum gallery.
The visit was facilitated by the National Assembly Secretariat as part of the Parliament Visitor Programme and civic education. The programme serves as an important platform to promote awareness of Bhutan’s democratic institutions, foster civic education, and encourage a deeper appreciation of parliamentary processes among students and young learners.
