Hon’ble Phuntsho Dendup, Member of the National Assembly, successfully concluded his constituency visit in Trongsa Dzongkhag

Hon’ble Phuntsho Dendup, Member of the National Assembly from Nubi–Tangsibji constituency, concluded a comprehensive and productive constituency tour, marked by meaningful engagements with the Dzongkhag administration, local leaders, and communities.

The visit commenced with an entry meeting with the Trongsa Dzongkhag administration, attended by the Dasho Dzongda, Dzongrab, and sector heads. During the meeting, the Dzongkhag presented a detailed progress report for FY 2025–2026 and outlined key priorities and development plans for the current financial year. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to strengthening service delivery and accelerating local development.

Hon’ble Member travelled extensively to various gewogs and chiwogs, engaging directly with the people at the grassroots level. He briefed the communities on the key deliberations and outcomes of the Fourth Session of Fourth Parliament, while also listening attentively to their concerns, aspirations, and suggestions. The interactions provided a valuable platform for fostering closer collaboration between the people and their elected representative.

In addition, Hon’ble Member reviewed the progress of ongoing gewog-level activities and emphasized the importance of timely and effective implementation of development plans. He also visited several potential sites such as Tangsibji Kela bypass, identified for future development, highlighting the need for strategic planning and sustainable infrastructure to support long-term growth.

The tour underscored Hon’ble Member’s continued commitment to inclusive development, responsive governance, and ensuring that the voices of the people are reflected in national decision-making. Moreover, Hon’ble Member attended the 10th Moenlam Chenmo of Trongsa Dzongkhag, presided over by His Eminence Yoenten Lopoen Rinpoche, and successfully concluded the constituency tour.
