Students from Harvard Kennedy School of Government visit the National Assembly of Bhutan
18 March 2026On 17 March 2026, a group of students from Harvard Kennedy School of Government visited the National Assembly of Bhutan . During the visit, the students met with Hon. Sangay Khandu, Deputy Speaker, who presented an overview of Bhutan’s parliamentary system, and political landscape , followed by a question-and-answer session. The students also toured the Parliament Hall.
The visit was facilitated by the National Assembly Secretariat as part of the Parliament Visitor program. The Programme serves as an important platform to promote awareness of Bhutan’s democratic institutions, foster civic education, and encourage a deeper appreciation of parliamentary processes among students, researchers, and visitors, including future global leaders.
