13 March 2026Members of the National Assembly of Bhutan Hon’ble Kinzang Wangchuk Member from the Dramedtse–Ngatshang constituency, Hon’ble Dorji Wangmo Member from the Kengkhar–Weringla constituency, and Hon’ble Naiten Wangchuk Member from the Monggar constituency are currently on constituency visits in Mongar Dzongkhag to engage with local leaders and review developmental progress.
On 2 March 2026, the Members met with Gups, Mangmis, and Gewog Administrative Officers representing 17 Gewogs at the Dzongkhag Tshogdu Hall to brief them on the key resolutions of the Fourth Session of the Fourth Parliament. Gewog Administrative Officers also presented updates on the financial and physical progress of development activities across the three constituencies. The Members further met with officials of Druk Green Power Corporation to review progress on the 1125 MW Dorjilung Hydropower Project, reaffirming their support for its timely implementation.
On 3 March 2026, during an Entry Meeting with the Dzongkhag Administration, the Members shared the major outcomes of the Fourth Session, followed by presentations on the LGKRAs and development progress for FY 2024–2025 and 2025–2026. They will continue participating in the Dzongkhag Tshogdu and engage with local communities in the coming days.
